Edgewood College offers more than 40 undergraduate programs, providing both a strong foundation in the liberal arts and career-oriented training. The Career Development Center provides many options to help fulfill employers’ hiring needs by connecting them with qualified students and graduates.

Handshake is the online system which students and employers use to manage their job search activities with Edgewood College.  You will be able to post part and full time job openings, internship opportunities, search for candidates, and manage your online presence with our students.  The system does require each employer to create a Profile to use the system but signing up is easy and takes less than 5 minutes  Once a Profile is created, you can post as many opportunities as you want and search candidates for free! On-Campus Recruiting by companies and organizations is welcomed by Edgewood College!

The events can be tailored to the employers’ needs so they can identify potential candidates and develop relationships with faculty and students for existing or future career opportunities.

Events and Programs

Attend events and programs to increase your organization’s visibility on campus and meet with students

Once each semester, Edgewood College holds a Career Fair where we ask employers to participate through attending panels, networking events, or mock interviews. Employers can also participate throughout the year in other career development workshops, panels, or information sessions.

Internship Programs

Create internship programs that help you identify great talent and spread visibility of your organization via word-of-mouth advertising.

Inclusive Internship Project

The community needs a strong workforce —beyond quantity of workers, our economy will benefit from the contributions of quality employees. This includes not only technical skills, but also excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability for self management. These “soft skills” can be learned on-the-job, but students who learn these early will be able to contribute to their companies faster and more efficiently. By participating in the Inclusive Internship Project, student interns receive a stipend through an Edgewood College gift so that your organization has the opportunity to partner with us, progress in your goals and timelines, and still keep finances in check!
